Applications are now open for the next two editions of the Frosio Italia Training and Qualification Course for the certification of coating inspectors specialized in paint systems for corrosion protection.

The course consists of two weeks of lessons: one in person and one online (via Microsoft Teams).

Applications can be submitted until Friday, 12th December 2025, with the option to choose between two editions scheduled for different periods:

• The 23rd edition will take place from January to February 2026.
• The 24th edition will take place from June to July 2026.

The University of Genoa, accredited by FROSIO since 2009 as a training body, is exclusively responsible for organizing the qualification and certification courses for Level I, II, and III Coating Inspectors in Italy, in accordance with the FROSIO SCHEME, which complies with the requirements of ISO 17024.

The course offers various job opportunities, including: naval and industrial construction, production, technical support and sales of coating products, treatment of metal and concrete surfaces, as well as quality and safety in surface treatment processes in both manufacturing and service companies.

Upon attending at least 80% of the course activities and passing the final exam, it’s possible to take the FROSIO certification through Gruppo IspAC Associazione, an accredited certification body.
