Course Structure

The course consists of two weeks of lessons:

• one week of theoretical online lessons via the Microsoft TEAMS platform

• one week of practical in-person lessons at the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering, University of Genoa, located in Via all’Opera Pia 15a, Genoa.

At the end of the two weeks, an exam is held to obtain certification according to the “FROSIO SCHEME,” with questions in both Italian and English.

Schedule

Registrations open for two consecutive sessions according to the following schedule:

23rd Edition

• Course duration: January - February 2026
• First week: remote theoretical part, from 19th to 23rd January 2026, 08:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00
  Second week: in-person practical part from 3rd to 6th February 2026, 08:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00
•  In-person exam date: 6th February 2026

22nd Edition

• Course duration: June - July 2026
• First week: theoretical part at a distance, from 15th to 19th June 2026 with hours 08.00-12.00 and 14.00-18.00
  Second week: practical part in presence from 29th June to 2nd July 2026 with hours 08.00-12.00 and 14.00-18.00
• Date of exam in presence: 3rd July 2026
